With the VX2722, ViewSonic brings a new monitor with OLED panel, 27 inch diagonal and 4K resolution on the market. HDMI 2.1 is also included as an interface. Anyone who now assumes that gamers are the target group again: No, they should primarily be creative people. For example, ViewSonic promises a particularly high color accuracy of Delta E < 1.

The monitor does not want to reach for the stars when it comes to the refresh rate and remains at a quite conventional 60 Hz. The response time is still 0.1 ms (GtG). The VX2722 is also VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certified. It is a native 10-bit panel that covers 109% of the Adobe RGB color space and DCI-P3. For BT.2020 it is 78%. In addition to the aforementioned HDMI 2.1 (2x), DisplayPort 1.4 and USB-C with up to 96 watts and DP alt mode are also on board as interfaces. On top of that there is a USB 3.2 hub with four USB-A and a headphone output.

Alternatively, you can use the two integrated speakers with 2 watts for the sound. There is also a Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture mode each to display the image from two inputs in parallel. The ViewSonic VX2722 can also be rotated by 45°, tilted by -5 to +20° and adjusted in height by 130 mm. It is also possible to use the screen in pivot mode, i.e. upright. The ViewSonic VX2722 measures 637.2 x 376.3 x 29.5 mm (W x H x D) and also supports HDR.

Unfortunately, ViewSonic does not yet provide any information on the price and availability of this 4K OLED monitor.
