Now it’s off, because no one seriously believed that Fast and Furious 11 would be the last part of the world’s most high-octane series of action films? No, of course not and now (perhaps unsurprisingly) it has been revealed by none other than family man Vin Diesel himself that Fast and Furious 12 will become a reality.
It was during one prominent on the red carpet for the premiere of Fast X as Diesel and co-star Michelle Rodriguez talked about the studio’s plans to make a trilogy out of these final parts.
“Without giving away too much, I can say this, going into making this movie, the studio had asked if this could be a two-parter and after the studio saw this Part One, they said, “Could you make Fast X: The Finale a trilogy?””
Rodriguez then filled in, saying:
“It’s three acts in any story”
And Diesel concluded with:
“You probably are getting a trilogy”
In short, the story will be expanded even more and invite to a motoring party like no other for all fans. Fast X, Fast and Furious 11 and now also most likely Fast and Furious 12.
