A vivo, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, launched this Friday (26) two new Y-series phones in Indonesia: vivo Y36 4G and vivo Y36 5G. The two devices have similar specifications, but differ by the processor and connectivity, with the most complete variant compatible with the fifth generation of mobile networks.
Both models feature a 6.44-inch LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate, in addition to an under-display fingerprint reader. On the back, they bring a rectangular camera module with two sensors, the main one being 50 MP and the depth one 2 MP. The front has 16 MP and is housed in a hole.
vivo Y36 4G is equipped with Snapdragon 680 chipset — octa-core up to 2.4 GHz and 6 nm lithography — with Adreno 610 GPU, while vivo Y36 5G uses Dimensity 6020 — octa-core up to 2, 2GHz and 7hm lithography — with the Mali-G57 MC2 graphics card. Both have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD).
They also have a 5,000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support, which promises to recharge to 70% of capacity in just 30 minutes. The devices run the Android 13 operating system with the custom Funtouch OS 13 interface offering the native features of Google’s latest system.
The new Vivo Y36 4G and Y36 5G are now available for purchase in Indonesia for the suggested retail price of IDR 3,999,000 (about R$1,400) and IDR 4,499,000 (about R$1,600), respectively. Available colors are Black, Blue and White.
