Saltillo, Coahuila, May 7, 2023. During his tour of rural communities in the southeast of the state, the candidate of the Citizens’ Alliance for Security, Manolo Jiménez Salinas, assured that his government will promote the greatness of the Coahuila countryside.
Accompanied by the candidates for local deputies for districts 12 and 15, Edna Dávalos and Beatriz Fraustro respectively, Jiménez Salinas presented the proposals with which he will take Coahuila to the next level.
In his meetings with peasants in the Agua Nueva ejido, south of Saltillo, and in General Cepeda, Manolo listed the programs and projects that the Morena government has withdrawn from the countryside, affecting the development and well-being of the communities and their inhabitants, and He explained how being Governor, these shortcomings would be reversed.
“For this reason, here I make the commitment to strengthen the countryside of Coahuila, with projects, with programs and with works, together with you,” he said, referring to the provision of seeds, calves, fallow support, construction and improvement of roads , wells and troughs among other specific actions.
Likewise, he said that with the experience of the great reforestation that he led as mayor of Saltillo, when a million trees were planted in his administration, a mega reforestation program has been projected for the entire state and those for the prevention and combat of forest fires.
“Starting in 2024, we are going to start building the expansion of the highway from Saltillo to Derramadero so that the ejidos of Saltillo are better connected,” he emphasized.
In his presentation he also talked about how he will keep Coahuila armored against crime, with crime prevention programs and additions, with a more humane proximity police, better equipped and with more and better technology and weapons. And he also detailed how with the Popular Health Card he will provide free consultation, studies and analysis to vulnerable groups.
“And to strengthen the health issue, I am going to commit to building rural health clinics,” he added, pointing out the complementary actions that he will implement to provide quality services to the inhabitants of rural areas, and that they do not have to travel to be seen by a doctor.
