The development and deployment of an iPhone app quickly becomes a challenge for companies. Choosing the right developer account at Apple is still relatively easy, but it quickly becomes complicated in larger companies: Important information such as contact persons, responsibilities and means of payment should be clarified at an early stage in order not to miss project deadlines. The list of supposed trivia is long and often turns out to be a stumbling block, be it the necessary permissions for project participants or admin access for an external developer.

In the new webinar “App development in companies: framework conditions” is about exactly these questions: What types of developer accounts are there in Apple’s developer portal, who ultimately has to apply for and pay for the account and what actually is a DUNS number? Security expert, specialist author and development manager Klaus M. Rodewig provides answers in June.

The webinar also deals with sensible release planning in view of Apple’s unpredictable app store review process, the strict and by no means always strictly enforced rules of the iPhone manufacturer and how external developers can be given access to a company account . Accordingly, “App Store Connect” is also on the agenda; iOS apps must be submitted for general publication via the portal.

The approximately two-hour webinar is aimed at product managers, product owners as well as the areas of marketing and IT support. It will take place on June 20, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The price for a ticket is 129 euros, with an early bird discount it is currently available for 116.10 euros.

With the new Mac & i Pro subscription for admins and developers Participation in this and other webinars is free of charge, a total of 24 webinars per year are included.
