International Ballet Festival places Miami as the epicenter of dance

With the world premiere of Dissonancea work by Cuban Abel Gonzalez Melo, resident playwright of Teatro Avante, concludes the 38th edition of the International Hispanic Theater Festival of MiamiThe promotional note indicates that the piece is presented under the direction of Mario Ernesto Sanchez: takes place between two periods and places, with the central theme being the mark that dictatorships, often arising under the guise of democratic revolutions, leave on societies and human beings. Ballet Festival

The theater company ARCA Images, chaired by Alexa Kuve, announces a new premiere, Paper walka work by playwright Carlos Celdrín, about the life and work of the painter Antonia Eiriz (1929-1995), one of the most outstanding Cuban visual artists: Antonia achieved her greatest recognition as a painter in revolutionary Cuba in the 1960s.
