The Green Ranger is one of the protagonists of Power Rangers, but sadly the actor who played him, Jason David Frank, recently passed away at the age of 49. One of hypothesis is that Adam Parkplayed by Johnny Yong Bosch, may be the Green Ranger of the Netflix special. Adam has become the Zeo and the Turbo Green Ranger after Tommy had become the Red Ranger for both seasons of the original series. Since Johnny Yong Bosch’s Adam is officially returning for Netflix’s Power Rangers reunion as part of the mysterious SPA, it would make sense that Adam would be the Green Ranger in Once & Always.
Another possibility is that Matt, Tommy’s successor as Green Ranger following the Power Rangers’ Shattered Grid event, make his live-action debut in the Power Rangers 30th Anniversary Special.
Finally, another hypothesis is that the character could be JJ Oliver, Tommy’s sonif time travel was somehow introduced into the narrative.
It’s hard to imagine a Power Rangers celebration without the green-colored Ranger, as the first evil Power Ranger who was turned into a hero remains one of the series’ most iconic characters.
