And even if he is not from New Zealand and will only be present for one day in the country, Harry Styles will not escape the rule and will be forced to participate. As stated on Twitter thenew zealand national agency head of the census “everyone who is in New Zealand/Aoetaroa on the evening of the census (Tuesday March 7) must be counted.”
“This includes tourists, visitors and former members of One Direction”, continues the agency, in a nod to the presence of Harry Styles that day.
Fine of almost 1200 euros
For this national census, the 29-year-old British singer, awarded the Grammy for best album of the year for his opus Harry’s housewill have to submit to a series of questions, some of which are quite personal, relating in particular to the exact composition of the household, their daily consumption of cigarettes, their gender or their income.
However, the answers collected will be kept strictly confidential and will only be consulted by the government in order to increase and refine its demographic data.
In New Zealand, the mandatory national census is held every five years. If Harry Styles does not comply with the rule or provides incorrect information, the artist risks a fine of 2000 New Zealand dollars, or nearly 1200 euros.
