Xiaomi is now distributing the new MIUI 14 interface globally for the Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphone (here is my test). It is still based on Android 13 – the Xiaomi 12 Pro had previously received an upgrade to Android 13 – but still with MIUI 13 as the Surface. The new firmware, which weighs 723 MB, also includes the security patch for January 2023.
I was able to install the update myself, but had to temporarily switch to “India” in the region settings. In my case, no new firmware was found with German regional settings. You don’t have to worry about this trick: the firmware is identical and you can switch back to the German region settings after installation without any problems. The system language can remain as it is anyway.
Among other things, MIUI 14 brings an improved search for the settings. You now have more options for the folders. I hope you can already obtain the corresponding firmware 14.0.7.0.TLBEUXM – have fun!
