Xiaomi has announced its new flagship, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which features exceptional camera hardware, including a 1-inch main camera with variable aperture and a fourth periscope camera. We summarize the novelties for you.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which has been talked about for some time, has been officially announced. The smartphone features five cameras, including a main 50-megapixel Sony IM989 with variable aperture ranging from f/1.9 to f/4.0 to suit various scenes.
The other three cameras are ultra-wide, telephoto, and super-telephoto units, all equipped of Leica lenses. The main camera also comes with Leica Vibrant and Leica Authentic shooting modes. The front camera is a 32 megapixel unit.

The phone hasa large curved screen with thin bezels and a centered display camera punch. On the design side, the back of the phone features a vegan leather plate, which is a “ second-generation nanotechnology material » resistant to UV rays, antibacterial, wear and dirt. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, Qualcomm’s most powerful SoC. The phone also has an LTPO AMOLED panel, in 6.73 inches, with an adaptive refresh rate up to 120 Hz (1-120 Hz). Xiaomi also offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 flash storage.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is also IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, while it supports Bluetooth 5.3. Stereo speakers are included, with Dolby Atmos support. An optical in-screen fingerprint scanner is also part of the package, along with in-screen heart rate monitoring.

Android 13 is pre-installed, with MIUI 14. A 5000mAh battery powers the device, while the phone supports 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, as well as reverse wireless charging . And yes, a charger is included in the box.
The phone’s design is interesting, with a circular camera island that’s thick at the top of the phone and thinner at the bottom to compensate for the depth of the island. The smartphone is available in black, white, green. The price and release date of the smartphone, however, remain a mystery.
