The average price of regular gasoline in the US fell 5 cents over the last three weeksso now a gallon (3.8 liters) sells for approximately $3.25, according to AAA.

This decrease places gasoline costs at the lowest since mid-February. This is five cents less than a week ago and 20 cents less than the national average, which was $3.45 on Sunday, according to a press release from the entity.

However, Crude oil prices rose nearly 4 percent last weeksaid Mark Jenkins, AAA spokesman.

Oil industry analysts credit this increase to voluntary production cuts, which were agreed to by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries along with its allies.which would lead to a shortage in the oil market during the summer, the press release mentions.

The place where a highest price was West Palm Beach-Boca Raton ($3.45)Naples ($3.34) and Miami ($3.33).

The least expensive metro markets are currently Crestview-Fort Walton Beach ($3.05)Pensacola ($3.07) and Panama City ($3.07).
