PSOE, PP, Vox and PNV support in Congress the spending of 1,129 million for Defense
PSOE, PP, Vox and PNV have defended the agreement approved by the Government on April 16 for an amount of more than 1,129 million euros for Defense material, given the international instability scenario caused by the war in Ukraine or the conflict between Israel and Palestine.
They did so in the plenary session of Congress held this Wednesday before a motion presented by Podemos, which requested the revocation of this agreement for the purchase of military material. Deputy Javier Sánchez, from Podemos, has explained the content of the motion, which, in addition to annulling this agreement, asked that Spain “move from words to actions” on the question of Palestine.
“Recognition is goodbut there is no point in recognizing the State of Palestine if there are no Palestinians left and if our country continues to allow the trade and transit of lethal weapons through our ports,” he said, in statements reported by EFE.
