Harmony in the Hotel am Garnmarkt
The harmony met on January 14th in good spirits for the AGM 2022.
Also Mrs. Vzbgm. Edith Lampert-Deuring was welcomed.
In the 2022 choir year, there was a lot of catching up to do after the long Corona breaks. In addition to the summer concert and a commemorative mass, two Advent concerts were held in Lauterach and Götzis with the Hofsteig women’s choir.
The choir director praised the activity of the board and all the good spirits who work in front of and behind the scenes. Chairman Hermann compared the harmony with a tender seedling on a strong rootstock of 162 years.
A big thank you goes to the municipality of Götzis, which makes the rehearsal room and, every year, the AmBach hall available to Harmonie.
3 new members were admitted and two members were reinstated. This positive development and the honor for 11 singers for diligently attending rehearsals testify to the harmony and cohesion in the choir.
Now everyone is looking forward to the summer concert “Lebenskunst” on July 1st with the youth choir “Calypso” and the various planned performances.
After a group photo and the closing chorus “The Night”, everyone enjoyed the fine dinner and the harmonious get-together.
