17 Mexican dancers from Nacho Cano’s musical, Malinche, have filed a complaint against the National Police for coercion and falsification of documents when they were questioned at the police station. EFE indicates that they are the interns who are in the spotlight for having been hired, allegedly, illegally for this project.

On June 17th, More than a dozen agents showed up at a church in Madridwhere they rehearse, to carry out a work inspection. They were then taken to a police station to undergo questioning about the working conditions agreed with Nacho Cano.

The media outlet said that the agents coerced them to the point of producing manipulated documents that did not correspond to reality. The complainants also questioned the fact that they could not access the content of the Lesly Guadalupe Orellana’s complaintmember of Malinchewho accused the producer of having been hired illegally.

The artist went to TardeAR to detail in depth the reasons for his accusationrevealing the disproportionate and low salary they receive for the long working day (11 hours, 6 days a week). Perhaps Nacho was not aware of this negligence… He did not have the budget to keep us in good conditions. What made me angry is that he did not take the time to listen to me to show him what was happening.

The complainant also revealed some messages that she shared with the producer and in which we can read, beyond the recommendation to bring a tour guide so as not to cause suspicion, the following::I remind you that you will be traveling as tourists. You must not mention to Immigration that you are going to study. The remuneration of 300 euros was also mentioned in these messages.
