A 2-year-old girl was seriously injured in a traffic accident that occurred in the early hours of this Monday, on PR-137, in Morovis.
According to the police report, the driver of a wine-colored Toyota Highlander was passing through the area when she allegedly invaded the lane of a Toyota Corolla, in which the minor and a woman were traveling, and hit them.
The girl had to be transported by air ambulance to the Río Piedras Medical Center.
The authorities ordered the occupation of the vehicles and will carry out the alcohol test, through the blood, on both drivers.
