A man was murdered in the morning hours of this Tuesday on the PR-861, in the La Vega sector of the Ortiz neighborhood, in Toa Alta.
According to preliminary information, an anonymous call alerted the police to a violent death. When the agents arrived at the place, they found the body of the deceased, who was identified as 47-year-old Luis A. Rodríguez Ortiz, a resident of the mentioned municipality. The victim had multiple gunshot wounds.
Agent Hugo Fernández attached to the Homicide Division of the Vega Baja Criminal Investigation Corps, together with prosecutor Jenifer Cancio, are in charge of the investigation.
