Calling himself Ryushi, this hacker asks Elon Musk to make him a purchase offer to avoid endangering the safety of his users. But also to escape an EU fine for breaching the GDPR. If a buyer takes this data, the 400 million accounts could be targeted by attempted scams.

Hudson Rock confirms the veracity of this hack through the research of its independent cybersecurity experts. Decentralized finance platform DefiYield has “ verified each of the 1000 accounts given by the hacker and also confirms this attack. Among those affected are Sundar Pichai, CEO of Googleor even Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a well-known Democratic politician and fervent supporter of Bernie Sanders who is very active on Twitter.

Yet very talkative on Twitter, Elon Musk has not yet reacted to this massive hacking of 400 million verified accounts. Ryushi asks the CEO of the social network to make him an offer by private message or on encrypted Telegram messaging. Otherwise, the hacker will sell this sensitive information at the best offer. On Breached, the hacker says: “ I have not yet been contacted by Twitter, I offered them this exclusive sale. But if I can’t sell to them, I’ll take other people’s offers “.

Note that this data was stolen between 2021 and this year by exploiting ane vulnerability in the code of Twitter.
