“In this way they were able to reveal the location and other details of the operation of our air defenses,” adds the note, which also says that the images ended up being shared in the media and Telegram channels of Russian “propagandists”, some of them “controlled”. by the Russian secret services.

The SBU has also identified security cameras installed in several shopping malls in kyiv that automatically recorded videos of the time of the attacks. Some of these videos were later published on YouTube to show the spectacularity of the interceptions.

Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly asked their citizens not to post recordings of Russian attacks online. These videos can be used by Russia to locate Ukrainian defenses and correct the trajectory of new missile launches into Ukrainian territory.

The detainees could be sentenced to a maximum of 8 years in prison for the crime of “disseminating relevant military information without authorization.” EFE
