Newcastle United have apparently put out feelers in the direction of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (27). According to ‘Il Messaggero’, the Magpies are preparing a big transfer package for the Serbian midfielder from Lazio Roma. The offer is said to provide for a transfer fee of 60 million euros for the Laziali and a bonus of 12 million euros for the international.

In addition, Milinkovic-Savic beckons a whopping salary of ten million euros per season, according to the Italian daily. Even though Lazio president Claudio Lotito has denied any rumors of the box-to-box player’s departure, the pressure on the Serie A club seems to be mounting. Milinkovic-Savic is only under contract in Rome until 2024 and has not yet sent any signals that he wants to extend the working paper.
