The first Beta of Android 14, released by Google about a month ago, has just been released for nine cell phone models from other companies. Xiaomi, Oppo, Realme, Vivo and Nothing are among the manufacturers awarded early access.

Among the devices announced, it is possible that the developers will be able to collect good feedback from the wide user base of Xiaomi and Realme, mainly.
Remember that Android 14 Beta 2 is now available and was released yesterday (10) for Pixel phones after the Google I/O event. This update already fixes some of the bugs found in Beta 1, which can now be tested on the above devices.
O Canaltech only recommends installing the software if the device is secondary. For the main cell phone, the safest thing is to wait for the stable version to be distributed.
When will Android 14 be released?
Android 14 is expected to have its official release in September or October 2023. Until then, it is likely that many experimental versions like this will be released for exhaustive testing by developers and users registered in the program.
During the I/O, Google showed several new features for the operating system. Among the highlights are the customizable lock screen, a new tracker alert system and the expansion of the “Find My Device” feature.
The Mountain View Giant also announced Wear OS 4, an operating system for smartwatches, is announced with a focus on consuming less battery. The idea is to test the software on some smartwatches in the coming months.
