The Diablo IV Season 1 pre-release patch was heavily criticized by the gaming community due to the nerfs received by all classesespecially the favorite of the majority: the Wizard. Being the most chosen class at launch, it has been the one that has seen its power reduced the most and is now considered the weakest of all.
While many players have avoided picking the sorcerer on the Season 1 to go for the “target classes” (more optimal), others have ignored the advice of all the guides and have confident in class to complete all content. And while it’s not easy, there are many examples of people who have progressed quite a bitalthough there is a very special one.
The user u/wunthr from Reddit has shared a publication in which he tells that he has completed a Nightmare Dungeon Level 100 with a Sorcerer (ice) at Level 91. And not only does it limit itself to counting it, but it shares a video on YouTube as proof and the exact characteristics of his character. She did this feat in response to those who point out that the “wizard is deadafter the changes.
After numerous negative comments, the player has had to clarify that he did not create the post to show off or hesitate, that they obviously helped him along the way and that he is in disagreement with nerfs. However, that doesn’t change the fact that he’s achieved this milestone with a class that many people advise against taking. In other words: the sorcerer has been nerfed and is a class hard but not unplayable.
