Pokemon is one of the most profitable franchises of all time and it is not for less, since a large number of fans around the world have grown fond of the popular creatures and their trainers, which is why many of them create amazing tributes within the fandom which have greatly surprised us.
Something that seems quite curious to us is that when we hear the name “Pokémon” we immediately remember Pikachu, Ash Ketchum and his adventures as a coach, together with Misty Y Brockas well as the classic confrontations against the Team Rocket. In fact, fans have adopted some of the Pokémon as our favorites from the first installment of the saga until reaching the most recent ones, such as Pokemon Scarlet and Purple.
We have recently been able to see one of these tributes to the popular franchise, by showing us a fan art that really manages to recreate the look of one of the most beloved Pokémon. In this case it has been the user known as u/ZanorinSeregriswho shared a layout that makes use of the style ukiyo-ein which you can see one of Rockruff’s evolutionary forms, Lycanroc, and which show us the change it has in its Twilight form.
Lycanroc is a rock-type Pokémon introduced in the seventh generation, which has truly won the love of fans and is one of the most beloved Pokémon, but now we can appreciate it with this Ukiyo-e style. For those who do not fully remember this Pokémon or the most recent video games in the franchise, we will tell you that Lycanroc appears in the installments of Pokémon Scarlet and Purple, although it already has other appearances in previous installments.
In its twilight shape, Lycanroc evolves from a special Rockruff with the rhythm ability, but it must do so in the afternoon in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon. This form of Lycanroc combines several traits from the day form and the night form: the four rocks around its neck are similar to those of its day form, while its mane resembles that of its night form.
It stands on all four legs and its behavior is similar to that of a daytime Lycanroc, but when it attacks its eyes emit a reddish glow very similar to that of the night form. He has a laid-back attitude, obeys the coach who has earned his trust, and never loses his cool. He has a great fighting spirit and therefore prefers close-range combat, and this fan art shows us the love that fans have for Pokémon with an alternative version of Lycanroc in his Twilight form.
