A fire in Candonga de Santa Clara leaves losses of millions of pesos

Marianela Dufflar, communication specialist from the state company Artex, informed this Wednesday through her Facebook profile what one of the victims of the fire that occurred during the early hours of Wednesday in a house in Centro Habana was a worker of the entity.

León and six other people, including two minors, died as a result of a fire that allegedly originated from the explosion of electric mopeds. The official information published on Wednesday was still not conclusive about what happened.

In the published images, several charred mopeds are seen in one of the rooms of the house.

The fires caused by electric motorcycles in Cuba have been increasing in recent years, due to poor handling of the load of these vehicles.
