PIt seems that the case of disappearance of madeleine mccann it will never end. Now, a witness, a former family friend, has spoken publicly for the first time about what happened to him that day, stating that the alleged kidnapper, Christian Brueckner, He said that the girl “didn’t scream” and that Scotland Yard ignored his information in 2008.
The key witness is Helge Busching who explained how he learned of Brueckner’s shady past by discovering videos of sexual abuse, and how he appeared to incriminate himself in Madeleine’s disappearance.
Helge knew of Brueckner’s nature long before McCann’s disappearance after stealing some videotapes and a gun from Brueckner’s home. He points out that he saw two movies, one in which an old woman was tied up and another with a teenager. “You could see someone flogging the woman. She was tied up, lying on the bed, with painted ski goggles…she must have been 70 or 80 years old. She yelled: ‘You bloody bastard!’ then i saw it was brueckner“, he highlighted.
Later, in 2008, he met Brueckner again: “He asked me, ‘don’t you go to Portugal anymore and do business there?’ I said, ‘no, since the girl disappeared there, there have been too many police checks for me, I don’t need that. absolutely. Anyway, I don’t understand how the little girl could have disappeared without a trace”Helge continued in the conversation, to which Brueckner replied: “She didn’t scream.”
Scotland Yard did not heed his words
“I thought: ‘He knows. He has something to do with it.’ At 3 or 4 in the morning he left a festival with his motor home. I looked for him the next morning, but his neighbors said he was gone,” he explained.
Helge went on to claim that he had contacted the German authorities after finding the videotapes, but was told by a policeman to put them down and keep quiet. He stressed that also tried to inform Scotland Yard about Brueckner in 2008 through the Madeleine McCann hotline, but never heard back.
“I called Scotland Yard in 2008. Maddie’s hotline. I said I knew someone who might have something to do with it and gave him the name. But nothing happened there. Nothing! They never called mesentenced.
