A man was murdered at about 5:31 in the morning this Sunday, on PR-10, at the entrance to Camino Viejo Pandura, in the Tibes neighborhood of Ponce.
According to preliminary information, a call to the 9-1-1 Emergency System alerted the Police to a person lying on the pavement. When the patrolmen arrived at the place, the body of a man with apparent gunshot wounds was found on the banks of the aforementioned road.
At this time the deceased has not been identified.
Personnel from the Ponce Homicide division and the prosecutor on duty are at the scene and investigating the event.
