60 FPS mode is finally coming to consoles
Focus Entertainment and Asobo announce that the performance mode, allowing you to play the game at 60 FPS, is now available on Xbox Series X and PS5. Xbox Series S is not affected.
It is also specified that the graphic quality is reduced in the 60 FPS mode, but that the players can always favor the visual aspect via the resolution mode at 30 FPS.
The 60 FPS option implies less detailed graphics. PS5 and Xbox Series X players can therefore choose either Resolution mode to enjoy the exceptional visual rendering of A Plague Tale: Requiem; or the Performance mode which reduces the graphic quality but improves the fluidity of the game thanks to the 60 FPS.
Note that the PC version of the game also hosts an update with new settings to optimize the visual rendering on this medium.
