A soccer referee was attacked in La Plata after penalizing an infraction for the visiting team that won the match by the slightest difference. After the incidents that caused “minor injuries” the referee filed the criminal complaint and identified his two aggressors who will be charged in the next few hours.

The incidents were recorded in a sports venue located at Calle 156 and 46 where San Carlos received Nueve de Julio. The match was won by the visitor by one to zero. There were 10 minutes left to finish the game. With that framework the referee roman herrera (33) penalized an offense near the home area for the visiting team.

After the whistle is blown, the home team player identified as Emanuel Pasterino he began to protest and was sanctioned with a yellow card. The warning did nothing but enrage the player who continued with his claim, which generated the second sanction and red card.

At that moment everything got out of control. According to the complaint in the tumult, Pasterino hit referee Herrera and caused him a slight injury, but then another footballer from the local team identified as Daniel Cabrera hit the authority of the meeting with the booty plugs. The match was immediately suspended.

The case for minor injuries aggravated by being a sporting event is processed in the Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) 17 of La Plata by the prosecutor Eugenia DiLorenzo with knowledge of the Court of Guarantees 4 of La Plata whose owner is the judge Juan Pablo Masi.
