Nine injured after a Land Rover collided with a school in London

London.- A total of nine people, including seven children, have been injured when a Land Rover collided this morning against one of the buildings of a primary school in south London, the Police reported on Thursday.

A police spokesman has indicated that, for the moment, the severity of the injuries is unknown, while investigators have ruled out that “it is an act of terrorism.”

In its last part, the London Metropolitan Police (Met) specifies that the person driving the vehicle, of whom it has not given details, remained at the scene and at the moment “no one has been arrested.”

Agents received a call at 8:45 GMT today for “a serious collision” on Camp Road in the Wimbledon neighborhood, where the annual tennis tournament is held.

“We are investigating to find out the circumstances of what happened,” said the spokesman.

After receiving the alert, the agents and the London ambulance service, who remain in the area, went to the scene.
