Acapulco, Guerrero.- A 16-year-old woman was found dead this Tuesday in a ravine area of ​​the Fraccionamiento Mozimba, in Acapulco, Guerrero, according to local authorities.

The body of Enya Vanesa Pérez Bahena, who was reported missing yesterday when she was walking down Calle José María Morelos, was recognized by relatives.

Those close to the victim protested in front of police corporations, as well as elements of the Army and National Guard for the crime.

They assured that the Morenista Governor Evelyn Salgado, and also the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), who issued her disappearance file yesterday, did not do enough to find the teenager alive.

Enya Vanesa’s corpse was transferred to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo).

The Guerrero Association Against Violence against Women (AGCVM) assured that during this 2023 at least 30 murders of women have been registered.

In another case of violence, members of the Community Police of the Regional Coordinator of Community Authorities of the Founding Peoples (CRAC-PF) detained a subject who allegedly murdered his girlfriend.

The police searched for the subject in the hills of the community of Ahuayatelpan, in the Municipality of José Joaquín Herrera.

It is presumed that the alleged femicide murdered his sentimental partner after she refused to marry him in this region of the lower Mountain.
