A 78-year-old woman was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Montafon on Friday afternoon.
On Friday, April 7th, 2023, at around 3:25 p.m., a 78-year-old woman drove her car on the L188 in the Bartholomäberg municipality in the direction of Bludenz.
Three vehicles involved
For an unknown reason, the driver got into the oncoming lane and initially collided sideways with the oncoming car of a 48-year-old driver. Then she crashed head-on into the car of a 73-year-old car driver.
A badly injured
The 78-year-old woman was seriously injured, the 73-year-old suffered injuries of an unspecified degree. The injured were brought to the LKH Bludenz with the rescue. At the time of the accident there was heavy traffic on the L188.
The scene of the accident was difficult to pass for almost two hours during the clean-up work. Two vehicles from the Gantschier fire brigade with ten emergency services, the Red Cross with three vehicles and six emergency services and three federal police patrols with five emergency services were involved in the operation.
