At the World Championships in Qatar Jakub Kiwior from Spezia Calcio banged the drum for himself. In addition to Borussia Dortmund, numerous other top clubs from all over Europe are courting the Polish defensive specialist.
According to the portal ‘meczyki.pl’, RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt are now also interested. Leipzig should see Kiwior as an adequate replacement for Josko Gvardiol (20), who is willing to emigrate. The €20 million release clause should also look like a bargain given the potential revenue from a Gvardiol sale.
In addition to the German representatives, Kiwior is also very popular with Italian clubs. His good performances for Spezia are also noticed in Serie A. With AC Milan, Juventus Turin and SSC Napoli, three top clubs from the first division have put out feelers for the 22-year-old.
