MIAMI.- The British singer Adele confirmed that at the end of his show Weekends With Adele, whose last date is November 23, will take a break from the music to connect with other facets.
“I have no plans for new music at all. I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a while,” she said in an interview with German magazine ZFD.
Since November 2022, the 36-year-old performer has shared with her fans at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. However, with only 10 dates left to close this two-year trip, the artist is reflecting on her next professional steps, but also on what she needs personally.
During the conversation, Adele noted that the constant performances, while bringing her joy and gratitude, have also been exhausting.
“My tank is pretty empty,” he commented.
Rest
Before she ends her residency in Las Vegas, the singer of Heavy rain will be performing in Munich with 10 dates scheduled in August.
“A few months ago I got a call about a summer run of shows. I’ve been so happy with my shows at London’s Hyde Park and my Vegas residency that I had no other plans. However, I was too curious not to go ahead and embrace this idea – a custom pop-up stadium designed around whatever show I wanted to put on,” she wrote on Instagram.
Adele is thus preparing to end a stage and, as she did previously with her last world tour (2016-2017), take a period of rest.
“Those periods out of the public eye have extended over time, from three years between her debut in 2008, 19y 21 from 2011, to four years until their 2015 LP, 25and six between that album and 30 of 2021,” the magazine recalls Billboard.
In December, he told The Hollywood Reporter that he was not yet working on a next album.
“I don’t have anything to say yet. I haven’t even thought about it. I have to wait until I feel something. If I feel restless, then I know I have to go to the studio, and right now I’m the complete opposite.
