The actor returns to the cinema in an adaptation of the novel by Sylvain Tesson. The trailer was uploaded on Tuesday.

After conquering the French box office with NovemberJean Dujardin is back on stage on March 22 with a new dramatic film, On the dark pathsan adaptation of the novel by Sylvain Tesson.

Dujardin plays Pierre, a writer who plunges into a coma after falling several stories from the facade of a hotel. When he wakes up, when he can barely stand up and against everyone’s advice, he decides to travel across France on foot, taking the diagonal of the void, to cross these forgotten paths.

The director Denis Imbert adapts here the autobiographical book of Sylvain Tesson published in 2016. In this book, which has sold more than 230,000 copies, the adventurer-novelist recounts the real crossing of France on foot that he undertook after his coma. Jean Dujardin replies to Jonathan Zaccaï, Izïa Higelin and Anny Duperey.
