Big surprise for star entertainers James Corden (44)!
For his last edition as moderator of the “Late Show” he was presented as part of his cult format “ Carpool Karaoke‘ by Superstar Adele (34) picked up by car. Both share a deep friendship.Many tears flowed.

The “Hello” singer personally came to Corden’s Los Angeles home and woke the host up in his bed with a loud gong.
She then took Corden as a passenger. Because on his last day at work, Adele drove him to work at the CBS studios, although she had explained: “I’m actually not a good driver.”
On the drive, they both chatted about their friendship. Tears flowed as Corden spoke about his decision to return to the UK.

“It’s been a crazy eight years,” Corden explained. “On the one hand it feels like it’s gone so quickly and on the other hand I feel like I can’t remember what life was like before I was here.”
Adele says: “I’ve never lived in LA without you guys so I’m a little bit nervous to be honest and very, very sad.”
Corden dedicated touching words to his girlfriend Adele at the end: “You are the best friend one could wish for”, and took her hand. “I will miss you very much.” Adele was in tears.
Corden made his talk show debut in Los Angeles in 2015 after taking Craig Ferguson’s (56) place. From 2005 to 2014, he moderated the then already well-known “Late Late Show”. But it wasn’t until James Corden hosted the show that it went viral.

The reason for this was his cult format “Carpool Karaoke”, in which celebrities such as Michelle Obama (59), Justin Bieber (29), Lady Gaga (37), Elton John (76) and Paul McCartney (80) took part.
Corden’s first guest on “Carpool Karaoke” was Adele in 2016. The video became the biggest viral video hit of the year. To date, it has more than 260 million views.
