Adeline and Benjamin (Le Meilleur pâtissier) recount without taboo the beginning of their relationship during filming

Benjamin and Adelina marked the eleventh edition of the Best pastry chef with their budding on-screen romance. The two candidates may not have won this season, but they came away hand in hand. Their love at first sight did not escape the other candidates who are passionate about pastry, nor the viewers who noticed their rapprochement over the episodes. Adelina unfortunately stopped at the gates of the final, but she still stayed a little longer to support her companion during the final stretch. However, Benjamin bowed to Manon, the big favorite of this edition. Since the end of the show, everything seems to smile on the couple who have already passed great stages in their relationship. Indeed, they now live together and Benjamin met Adem, his partner’s little boy, several weeks ago.

“We didn’t look at each other the same”

This Wednesday, January 4, Benjamin and Adelina created their YouTube channel named Ben&Adé. They immediately posted a first video (to see here) in which they tell their love story to their subscribers, from their meeting to their joint projects. The young mother then remembered their first kiss, which took place during the filming of Horror Week, a theme that ultimately brought them a lot of happiness. “It was a Friday, after the awarding of the blue apron, we went bowling. So, we want to party (…) We laugh a lot and then there comes the first kiss”, confided Adelina. This first rapprochement was obvious for the two candidates, but they decided to remain as discreet as possible. “We no longer looked the same. (…) There is a moment when you can’t resist. And that morning, we wake up and everyone is looking at us. In fact, we decide not to talk about it”, continued Benjamin. If the couple thought of remaining discreet the time to put words on their relationship, their comrades had immediately guessed that they were together.

“We really fell in love”

However, an event came to disturb the happiness of the two lovebirds: the elimination of Adelina. “It kind of marked the end, it was weird. (…) I see Benjamin waiting for me in the distance, I say to myself, ‘It’s good, I’m not going to see him again, it’s over’. And there, I feel something in me where I imagine myself the next day taking the train, going home and I say to myself ‘I am very attached’. So I go to him, I look at him and I tell him ‘Benjamin, I love you’, I said it first“, remembered Adelina with great emotion. This statement upset her boyfriend who also remembers being extremely touched. “She told me that while giving me a hug, it was very touching. We went from something where we said to ourselves ‘We’ll see later, maybe we won’t see each other again’ to, thanks to this note at the end of the adventure, to ‘We’ll see each other again’, this is no longer a little love affair. We really fell in love”, confessed Benjamin. The two candidates finally had a crush worthy of the greatest romantic comedies.
