Leandro Trossard enjoys great popularity in London. ‘The Athletic’ report that Tottenham Hotspur have made a €13.5m bid for the 28-year-old Belgian. But that wasn’t enough for Brighton & Hove Albion, the Seagulls gave the thumbs-up.
But Spurs aren’t the only ones interested in Trossard. According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea are also interested. The Blues are currently embarking on a huge transfer offensive. Yet another offensive player could be overkill.
The situation is different at Arsenal, as Myhkaylo Mudryk, the dream player, went to Chelsea. According to the ‘Independent’, the league leaders have now identified Trossard as an alternative. In addition, the Gunners also deal with Raphinha (26 / FC Barcelona).
cooperation required
Trossard enjoyed an outstanding first half of the season at Brighton. In the meantime, however, the right foot has fallen out with coach Roberto De Zerbi as a result of a dispute with a teammate. Trossard was not on the field in the recent thrilling victories against Everton FC (4-1) and Liverpool FC (3-0).
The contract of the 24-time national player was recently extended by option until 2024. Nevertheless, Trossard wants to leave in the winter. Adviser Josy Comhair recently demanded: “It is important that Brighton cooperate with a potential transfer during this transfer window.” Half of London is at gunpoint.
