The two cases of death by poisoning discovered in berazategui this last week they put all the authorities of the Buenos Aires province from what would be a possible foodborne outbreak which continues to be investigated by experts.
In this context, while the population is attentive to possible events regarding these cases, a video whose origin and original date are unknown caused great indignation among the people. In it appears what would be the employee of a refrigerator swimming among offal.
The images are unpleasant and unhealthy, as are the comments that emerged on social networks after the viralization of this video, which has already reached all the WhatsApp groups in the region. From what can be seen, the man – whose identity has not been released at the moment – is inside a truck with a trailer swimming among offal and other types of meat while laughing with other colleagues.
Beyond the disgusting, it has not yet been possible to establish if the video was filmed this year and, therefore, if it is related to the food outbreak that caused two deaths and several cases of intoxication that led to two people being admitted to hospitals in berazategui.
WHAT IS THE SITUATION IN LA PLATA?
There are no cases in the region. In La Plata, municipal sources assured that “none reported”while in Berisso, the Commune issued a statement in which it assured that “To date, there have been no detected cases of salmonella or shigella outbreaks, nor have there been deaths from these pathologies”.
It also reported that “in conjunction with the Urban Control Department, the control and confiscation of those food transports that enter without the corresponding conditions or documentation continues.” From Health, they reported that only the four cases reported in Berazategui were reported.
