Noussair Mazraoui gives his World Cup bounty to charity
Because Noussair Mazraoui did not want to use his World Cup bonus for himself. According to a report by the “Evening News” the 25-year-old donated his entire World Cup bonus. It is said to be a sum of around 280,000 euros. The money will go to a charity in his home country.
He’s not the only one who decided to donate his World Cup prize. Hakim Ziyech, midfielder at Chelsea FC and team-mate of Mazraoui in the Moroccan national team, also passed on his bonus. The approximately 325,000 euros are said to have gone to employees from the national team and to aid organizations in Morocco.

After many years at Ajax Amsterdam, where Mazraoui has been on the pitch since he was young, he moved to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022 and played his way into the starting XI there. He signed with Munich until 2026.
