A project “revolutionary” which has the merit of having made people talk on social networks, and even among investors. In tonight’s episode of Who wants to be my partner?viewers were able to discover Aglaé, a start-up whose objective is to replace public lighting. But not with anything, since the company uses bioluminescent plants. A solution that is as ecological as it is visually striking.

Bioluminescent plants that have a great effect on investors

Aglaé had succeeded in convincing one of the five investors present on the Seine-Saint-Denis plateau, and not just anyone: Isabèle Chevalier. The creator of a pro-biotic products company had been charmed, and was already imagining the application of this technology in international cities, her specialty. But surprise tonight, discovering “Who wants to be my partner? The sequel”and which makes us discover unpublished cases and “what have they become ?”. Indeed, the Canadian investor, who agreed to join the adventure up to 350,000 euros for 15%, is not the only one to have been charmed. Because a few weeks later, Sophie Hombert, who is behind the project, saw her destiny accelerate at full speed: she has since toured the globe, passing through Dubai and Canada, where she found Isabèle Chevalier.

Jean-Pierre Nadir joins Isabèle Chevalier, charmed by the project

But it was on his return from Montreal that his adventure took an even more unexpected turn when he met Jean-Pierre Nadir, who was not present during the initial presentation. And it was this meeting, where she was able to show the visual possibilities of Aglaé and her luminescent plants, which convinced the investor to put money into the young woman’s company: “I wanted to find a solution and discuss with her to return to the capital”, he explains. As for Isabèle Chevalier, Jean-Pierre Nadir wants to get personally involved in the development of the project. To do this, the first has agreed to lower the amount of its participation – to 10% instead of 15% – while the second may enter the capital up to 5%, equivalent to 117,000 euros. A great story for Sophie Hombert, who hopes to have the light of the future in her hands, and for investors a good return on investment.
