Cigerci comes from the youth of VfL Wolfsburg, but was mainly active in Berlin during his time in the Bundesliga. In 2013 he switched to Hertha, first on loan and a year later.
In 2016 he was transferred to Galatasaray. He has now found his way back to Berlin via the stations in Fenerbahce, Basaksehir and Ankaragücü, where Cigerci wore the captain’s armband. Whether he will remain the only new signing of the old lady on today’s Deadline Day is still open.
