In Charly-sur-Marne, in the Aisne, a fire broke out around midnight in a two-storey house, Monday, February 6. Inside was a blended family. The mother and her seven children, trapped, did not survive.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, the pavilion was already fully ablaze. At 1 a.m. on the night of February 6, they were alerted by a neighbor. Very quickly, a first victim is extracted from the ground floor, a 40-year-old man, seriously burned but aware. The other family members took refuge on the second floor. An investigation has been opened
The fire surprised the family in this house located in the middle of a narrow street in Charly-sur-Marne (Aisne).
