President Alberto Fernández holds a bilateral meeting at the Casa Rosada with his Brazilian counterpart, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, with whom he will sign agreements and give a statement to the press within the framework of the relaunch of the strategic alliance between both nations.

Alberto Fernández and the first lady, Fabiola Yáñez, received their Brazilian counterparts, Lula da Silva and Janja da Silva, this morning at the Gallery of Presidential Busts of the Government House. Then they posed together for the official photo on the Escalera Francia, in front of the gobelin in which General San Martín is represented, and then both leaders went to the anteroom of the Eva Perón Room where they held the bilateral meeting.

Also participating in this meeting for Argentina are the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship, Santiago Cafiero, and of the Economy, Sergio Massa; the Secretary for Strategic Affairs, Mercedes Marcó del Pont, and the Ambassador to Brazil, Daniel Scioli.

Meanwhile, for Brazil, the ministers of Foreign Relations, Mauro Vieira, and of Finance, Fernando Haddad; the presidential adviser, Celso Amorim, and the ambassador of that country in Argentina, Reinaldo Salgado.

Once the meeting is over, Presidents Alberto Fernández and Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will lead the act of signing agreements for mutual cooperation in various areas in the White Room, and will make a joint statement to the press. Later they will open a meeting with more than 300 businessmen from both countries at the Bicentennial Museum.
