In front of thousands of Mexican teachers, the candidate for governor of the entity for the Va por el Estado de México coalition, Alejandra Del Moral Vela, promised that decisions in favor of education and the teaching profession be taken together and in complete coordination.

From the Alameda 2000 park in Toluca, Del Moral Vela highlighted that the victory of the debate –which will win with respect and education- will be dedicated to the teaching profession. “I dedicate Thursday the 20th to teaching. I am going to win the debate with respect, with education, with a high vision and with love for the Mexican land, without disqualification, but putting my finger on the sore.
Among the first actions that the standard-bearer of the PRI, PAN, PRD and Nueva Alianza parties will implement are that teachers have greater facilities to request a change of campus and exchanges and the incentive and reward scheme will be strengthened.
“A fair and dignified salary for teachers is my priority”, in the same way, he said, he will work to improve collateral benefits, in addition to seeing happy “teachers and students”, avoiding cumbersome filling in the different institutional procedures and will support normal schools.
To give certainty to the families of the Mexican educators, Del Moral Vela proposed to strengthen the permanent basis of places, avoid classrooms without an assigned teacher and that there is a complete staff to improve the state educational system.
At the event, where she was accompanied by Regions 8 and 5 of the Mexican teachers, as well as PRI member Alberto Curi Naime, the former mayor said that by reaching the government she will reduce the time it takes to determine retirement pensions, so that they are paid on time.
The flag bearer of Va por el Estado de México also emphasized that teachers will be treated with “greater affection, quality and solidarity” in the medical and administrative section of the Institute of Social Security of the State of Mexico and Municipalities (ISSEMYM).
