Graciela Alfano, at 70, enjoys a second chance with life
“I’m happy because I’m alive,” said Graciela Alfano, who, two months ago, when she turned 70, was going through one of the greatest tests that life had put on her up to then: being on the brink of death.
“I had two horrible cancers. One in the kidney, which was removed and there were 900 grams of substance, which left me knocked out, almost mentally dead. It was a very difficult month that I had to take anticoagulants so I wouldn’t get a thrombosis because it was major surgery, ”he recounted yesterday in dialogue with“ Intruders ”.

After passing this test, Grace improved, however, there was still more: “Another thyroid tumor came with an aggravating circumstance, and it was on the vocal nerve. They had to do it with a special operation that is done on the gum and that took hours of work so that she can be with this voice ”.
And although she continues to recover -now, in Punta del Este-, the blonde said that it was not easy at all. “When they told me, it was a bomb to the head, a hammer blow. It’s one of those things that you think happens to others. Will this study be okay? She was asking me”, she had recounted hours before in “LAM”, where she referred to the importance of preventive medicine.
Thus, having left the clinic alive, the reflections came and the actress said that what happened to her served to “resignify how we see illness and death.”
In addition, she recounted how these situations marked her relationship with her three children: “They were pale, ill, sleepless, exhausted, worried… I know those faces even though they wanted to hide them (…) At a time when my children I was together, I told them: ‘Be careful, at some point this is going to happen, now it’s like a rehearsal, because at some point I’m going to die.’
“The disease came and we cannot avoid it, but we can live it with strength, with humor, delving into relationships. We can decide how we want to live. My children told me how they love me in a way that they had never told me before,” Grace revealed, adding: “With this I lost my fear of dying. I naturalized it as something that is going to happen. I came out of this with a state of balance, of being okay with life.”
These days, Alfano also revealed that when she was diagnosed, she was “going off” hard with her ex, Quique Capozzolo, father of two of her three children and with whom she went to trial for infidelity.
What is chonguing? She explained: “The word “boyfriend” is not used anymore, unless you are 15 years old. I can only say that, generally speaking, there are two trends today. One is to marry yourself, which is what I’m proposing all the time. And the other is to hang out with the ex ”.
He said that they began with the “romance” on the birthday of one of the boys: the kitchen witnessed inappropriate kissing and touching. “You change partners, but you are always with the same model. He even said that his children found out and they took it quite well. But just hours after these statements, Grace changed her version. Apparently, Capozzolo sent her a message asking for “discretion” in her relationship, while she was “getting to know someone.”
“I did not know that I was dating, because I am from Sorora and I would not have kicked the ranch to anyone. He cheated on the other with me. And then what am I? Because I don’t quite understand where I am standing… I felt humiliated, offended. I am the mother of her children and the grandmother of her granddaughters. Deep down I was excited, ”she admitted.
