Good news for Alphonse Schuhbeck (73).

The star chef was threatened with the eviction of his spice shop in Munich. The reason was rent arrears. But now the rescue!

One of his close friends, real estate entrepreneur and investor Falk Raudies (48) joined the Schuhbeck Company. Further financing is thus secured. This saves the spice division of the company.

Raudies’ aim is also to maintain the star chef’s other spice shops in Regensburg and Altötting and even to open more. Schuhbeck will continue to create the recipes and spice mixes and contribute his knowledge.

Raudies to BILD: “For us, Alfons is the pope of spices. His high quality standards for his products and his knowledge of spices are extraordinary.”

Furthermore: “The connection between spices and health is particularly exciting. We want to save his life’s work together and make the company fit for the future.”

Schuhbeck was sentenced to three years and two months in prison in October for tax evasion of EUR 2.3 million. But he appealed. The celebrity favorite remains free until the decision is made.
