Alice in Borderland (Netflix): will there be a sequel?

Season 1 ofAlice in Borderland, Japanese series adapted from a very popular manga, made its return this Thursday, December 22 on the streaming platform with eight new episodes, after two years of waiting for fans. Still in an alternate reality where they must participate in deadly games to survive, Arisu, Usagi, Kuina and Chi have collected all the cards won by the members of La Plage and move on to the next level where they will have to face the cards of head.

Netflix considering a future season 3?

Alice in Borderland, season 2: more difficult and still captivating events

Season 2 ofAlice in Borderland picks up the story of Arisu where we left off: after discovering that Mira, one of the leaders of La Plage, was actually one of the organizers of the game, the band of Tokyoites find themselves facing the next level where they must face off against king of spades, queen of hearts, jacks of diamonds and other up cards, in hopes that once all heads are beaten, they can return to the real world. If the small group is quickly divided, this makes it possible to explore more different tests without repetition and to discover other characters than Arisu, already very followed in the first season. Unlike the first trials, here our heroes have to face real people who have been assigned the roles of kings and queens and who must participate in the games and also take the risk of dying. Without losing their violent character, these new events allow us to take a step back from this world and its actors.
