You are currently viewing Amira Pocher : Amira hat "not interested in his money"

What about Amira Pocher’s account balance? Why was the marriage contract so important to her? The moderator spoke about this in a financial podcast. Words that make you sit up and take notice after the separation from Oliver Pocher.

Amira, 30, said yes to comedian Oliver Pocher, 45, in October 2019, the couple has two sons together. But their happiness was not to last long: at the end of August 2023, after a long marital crisis, the couple finally announced their end of love. A separation that has not only emotional but also financial consequences.

Amira Pocher is an extreme shopper

Financial independence has always been extremely important to Amira Pocher. She made that clear in April 2023 in Janin Ullmann’s, 41, podcast “Female Finance” and incidentally revealed spicy financial details from her marriage to her husband, which should now be all the more exciting.

Amira loves to shop online. “Actually, you shouldn’t say that at all,” revealed the mother of two in an interview, in some shops the 30-year-old is even a private customer and has her own shopping assistant who puts her outfits together, she said on “Female Finance”. It’s no coincidence that she can afford it.

The former make-up artist is good in business, took part in “Let’s Dance”, hosts the Vox show “Prominent”, has a successful podcast with Oliver and recently launched her own UV nail polish line. Amira is aware that, thanks to her well-known husband, she “(is) able to try out certain things,” she once explained in the GALA interview. Nevertheless, she made it clear that one had to “bring something with oneself (and) be diligent”, because there had been “women with much better-known men” for whom it didn’t work out”.

Amira “still doesn’t know” Oliver Pocher’s “account balance”

Amira sees her shopping yields, including expensive bags and watches, as an “investment”, as does the property she bought this year, Amira told “Female Finance”. It is important to her that she can afford it herself, without her husband’s help. Oliver Pocher’s wife even went a step further at the time:

I have no interest in his money, even if that was said quite often at the beginning.

Amira was also annoyed in the GALA interview about reservations that she “wouldn’t be anything without Oliver Pocher” or “let a man put up with her”. Maybe that’s why she revealed in the podcast: “I still don’t know his account balance to this day. I don’t know how much is on it, how much he has, so to be honest, I’m not interested.”

That’s why the marriage contract was so important to her

After all, the 30-year-old insisted on a marriage contract at the wedding with Oliver Pocher, just like her husband. “I (…) said: ‘Please let’s make a marriage contract. I don’t want you to have the feeling that I want anything from your money at any point,'” Amira said to her lover at the time. Unity, which they will certainly wish for during their separation.

Because the Pochers were always in agreement when it came to the financial upbringing of their children. Amira wanted to “tell them that you have to do something for (your) money”. That’s why she didn’t set up any savings accounts. “I’ve never had good experiences with people who have inherited money. They just don’t have any connection to money because they just had it for free from the start,” says Pocher.
