The federal president said that the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus “was complicated” by the tour he had made last weekend in the southeast of the country and acknowledged that during his visit to Mérida, Yucatán, he had a A kind of “gaze”, however, he insisted that at no time did he lose consciousness, as had been rumored.

The 69-year-old federal president explained that during a meeting with military engineers and other officials he had “a kind of dizziness (…), speaking colloquially,” for which he was “immediately” treated by doctors, however, he refused to be transferred to a hospital.
“They gave me a liter of IV, they raised my pressure and fortunately it didn’t get any worse, there was no affectation in the heart, in the brain at all and they already transferred me to Mexico City,” said López Obrador while showing his foot walking through the corridors of the National Palace in a video that lasts 18 minutes.
The Chief Executive, who suffered a heart attack in 2013 and suffers from hypertension, said that he is already working and that he keeps himself informed about what is happening in the country.
