Mexico City- The state of health of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador is good, with mild symptoms of Covid-19 and his heart is normal, even with the lowest blood pressure.

The Secretary of Health, Jorge Alcocer, gave in the morning the report on how the federal President is doing.

“The President’s state of health is good, the SARS-Cov2 virus infection was confirmed a few hours after the onset of symptoms, as you know,” he said.

“According to the behavior of this virus, after three years of its activity during which it took various routes of infection, the clinical picture of the current conditions is mild, with symptoms of inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, that is, of the respiratory tract of the nose, in the throat and of course with fever and tiredness”.

“This symptomatology is the same that the President has had, with the taking of paracetamol, fluids, rest, it has improved.”

Alcocer indicated that López Obrador’s blood pressure has been controlled and he is in good condition.

“You know that Mr. President has a history of having suffered a heart attack, the current evaluation on this issue is normal, in fact, even his function, blood pressure has been controlled more downward, because he is not doing actions with the entire population, which is a dynamic action that raises blood pressure somewhat,” he reported.

“Therefore, also the blood pressure is controlled and in good condition.”

Therefore, AMLO will be discharged in “a few days.”

“I specify with you that the rest of his studies that have been carried out, including a thorough examination of the thorax, are normal, so in a few days he will be discharged,” Alcocer said.

The president, to recover, needs rest, according to the report.

“This is what I wanted to inform you and convey to you about the health of the President, who, in essence, what he requires is rest,” he concluded.
