A prolific modder of Grand Theft Auto 5who specializes in adding a wide variety of comic book heroes and villains to sprawling open-world gameplay, has recently released a mod that takes Ezra Miller’s version of Flash a GTA 5.
Images of the mod in action show Miller walking the streets of Los Santos in his DCEU suit, leaving an electric yellow trail in his wake.
Modder JulioNIB is solely responsible for giving players the option to explore Los Santos as a variety of comic book characters, including Spiderman, Homelander from The Boys, and Iron Man. Even some well-known non-superheroes, such as King Kong and Mechagodzilla.
JulioNIB’s YouTube channel has videos of mods from Flash dating back to 2016. These early versions of the mod include rough translations of The Flash’s speed and suit using Franklin, a character from the single player campaign of The Flash, as a template. GTA 5.
JulioNIB released an update in 2019 adding a slow motion effect and a time freeze effect that stops NPCs in place, increasing the illusion of the incredible speed of Flash.
The latest updated mod seems to use an original character model based on Ezra Miller and his suit from the movie universe. In the video, posted to Twitter by user TaurooAldebaran, Miller’s version of Flash jumps off a building and hurtles through oncoming traffic in downtown Los Santos.
As he crosses a junction, he reaches face-melting speed on a ramp and disappears from sight. The footage is interspersed with super slow motion shots of the Flash running to capture the character in all his glory.
